This is only the second renovation we have done but compared to our first which was a 900 sq. ft. apartment in Brooklyn, the scale of this project in our first ever house with 2,400 sq. ft. was much more involved. We had pretty major structural changes which required an engineer, we fully gutted/renovated the kitchen/living room/dining room to be one open space. This required lots of collaboration and design perspective from Blues Brothers and they really came through for us. We came in to the project with our own notions of how things could get done and our design preferences and they both managed and complimented those expectations. Blues Brothers was reasonable, fair, and honest regarding budget, timeline (which blew up due to covid), and feasibility. We worked through plenty of challenges together and in the end everyone remained professional, helpful, concerned, and we got the job done. We are very happy with the end result and learned a lot in the process.
